I wrote you a note in answer to the bat card while I was at the laundry room, but didn’t take enough paper.

One washer and one dryer now have the coin trays stuck in the “in” position, so getting ALL my laundry done today didn’t happen. It must be Monday.

:o|

At least you don’t have something fearsome sitting on your tail.

I almost didn’t see that tiny little floof! The unusual thing about that photo is that huskies are known cat killers.

Good morning.

My day has started with a flop. I don’t know how long it will be before I finally get around to making the bed, but in a few minutes, I have to go hang the sleep shirts.

I don’t want to Adult today.

One step at a time.

I think most days will take out a cat under some circumstances.

Sleep shirts are up and drying. Now I need to make some tea. I forgot it earlier, and I don’t like to do that.

Tea. Made.

Now I have to decide how to tackle the bed. The mattress is such that I can’t turn it over. I can only turn it from end to end, because its evidently memory foam and sticks to the box springs.

And then I need to address some envelopes to go out in today’s mail.

I had to clean squished cooties from the mulberry tree off the tires of the laundry cart before I could even bring it into the apartment. I hope this time next year, I’m in St George!

Oh, yes, and yesterday, I managed to get all of the DVDs alphabetized and into the albums, but now I need to work on the music CDs. Then there is writing the index for both. Believe it or not, I found it rather soothing, yesterday.

I like sorting, myself. Helps if you have an audiobook or podcast.

I was “listening” to NatGeo’s series on “Wild” continents. I couldn’t focus on anything else, as I was overwhelmed by the amount of genealogical information I had found. It wasn’t that I had “found” it, it was knowing that it has to be collated into files where it will do the most good for the most amount of people.

I’ve decided, if I get the stimulus check, I will get a binding machine so I can copy and bind up the personal histories that are in my possession. They need to be shared with other family members. A laminator is also on the list so I can make durable covers for the histories.

This is what happens when printing is in your blood...

Good morning. Happy Monday!

I wish I had a guardian like that.

It is definitely Monday. So far, things are plugging along at the usual Wonkyday pace, and the bed is about half made. I say that because I washed the mattress pad and pillow covers today. ;o]

For my next trick, I’ll drive to the post orifice and drop off two over-sized envelopes to deserving people.

Done!

I see I evidently semi-squished a snail on my way out the door. I don’t know how I did that because I was watching so I didn’t step on any squishables to track them into the truck or the house. *shudder*

Anyway, the mails will be on their ways NE and SE by this afternoon.

It’s a blistering 52° degrees, out, and I’m still waiting for warmer weather. The seasonal shift in clothing will be a lot different, now, even though the move was only 140 miles NE. It was more summer than winter because we had eight months of relatively warm weather. Now, its the opposite. I really do want to be warm again...

It’s in the 60s here. Wet. My joints hurt.

Joint hurty things are common since I moved here, what with all the rain (so MUCH more rain!) 15” a year compared to 3” a year in Vegas. So I’m using an OTC cartilage enhancer. It’s helping, but not as much as being in a drier area — 15 miles west — will be!

I’m so sorry you have to go through what I go through! You’re not old enough! ;o]

It’s only some of the joints, at least.

Mine started in my spine when I was around 13 and by the time I was in my 20’s it showed up in my hands and wrists. Of course, now its all joints. The worst part is the chronic bursitis that comes along with it.

I try to crochet every day, or knit, or even type, as long as all my fingers are in use, but if I take a break from it for a few days, or do something I’m not used to like kneading bread, it’s excruciating until I get back to crocheting again.

So now you know — crochet/crafty stuff is therapy!
