One of China's top coronavirus experts has warned that the nation is facing a second outbreak due to the increasing number of infections detected among new arrivals from abroad.
Professor Li Lanjuan, a member of Beijing's expert team on the virus, said she was 'very worried that imported cases could trigger another large-scale epidemic in our country'.
Her comment came after health officials reported the country's first case of someone who is believed to have contracted the disease, known as COVID-19, from another person returning from abroad.
It also came as life in former epicentre Wuhan is slowly returning to normal following a two-month draconian lockdown.

There is now enough anecdotal information about how to stop even severe COVID-19 China virus infections literally dead in its tracks - the hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin protocol seems to be effective in even the most severe of cases, and may be almost a magic bullet in stopping the viral infection cold.
Dr. Anthony Fauci already knows this, but in an abundnce of caution, he wants to continue “trials”, so we don’t have possibly something like thalidomide, that caused birth deformities, because “not enough” testing was done.
But the effects of each of these two drugs, individually, is already well known.
I suppose that he will be arrested by the police for “spreading false information”. Because China tour groups are starting up again. First, going to places within China and later other countries.

Ok, I can’t believe this. There is no way a densely packed country of 1.4 billion people eradicated the virus. It did not happen. They just stopped reporting it. There are 10s of thousands of bodies left undiscovered in Chinese homes waiting for the smell to expose them. Fortunately most people live with family in China.
The idea that this is coming in from the outside may have some merit. But the idea that there was none left in China is nothing short of impossible. They may have locked down Wuhan, but they could not do the same for the whole of China.
China and Japan and anywhere else that tries social distancing will be susceptible to a second and third wave until the majority of the population gets immunity. Social distancing only buys time. It will not stop the virus. It will still come this year.
I read a story about 20 million mobile phones in China going inactive during this period. Is there any validity to that as an indicator?
I believe very little from our own gov.

This is just an excuse, I’d bet that they still have a huge problem and using this as an excuse.

No mention of the ethnicity of the returnee, but dollars to donuts its a Chinese person who returned home.
If you didnt let your entire population get it, you have an entire population you have to defend.
I can’t watch that video, but I can imagine the horrors the video contains.
I wish there were a way to rescue every dog in that godforsaken hellhole of a country. There shouldn’t be one dog allowed in China. Those Neanderthals don’t deserve the privilege of having dogs.

20 million seems like a lot. But a rough number would be something like 5 to 10 million. And because they would skew old, I would think they would not all have cell phones. My guess is that the number would be 3 to 7 million cell phones going dark in China between now and the end of the virus epidemic. And maybe its ,33% to 50% over now in China. So there must be another reason for the phones going dark. It could be foreigners leaving. Or it could be people escaping China to get out of the crack down or the virus itself. Notice how well it spread. The people of China took every boat or plane out of China. And they spread it to every corner of the world.
Well, they COULD be sort of right about a second outbreak, if one of the ‘tin hat’ stories has a kernel of truth in it.
Supposedly, this bio-weapon (you don’t really think a bowl of bat soup started it, do you? )...has genes from the AIDS virus spliced into it, and once you are infected, it never goes away, and comes back a little stronger, every time.
I hope this is nonsense, but I wouldn’t put it past ‘them’ to develop something that insidious.
