My point about the virus is that it does not care what anyone thinks, what anyone hopes for. It does not care about the economy and jobs. It has no mercy, and does not allow room for error.
It should not be underestimated.
Those humans anywhere in the world who are quick to say “we have turned the corner”, “we have stopped the virus”, etc. are going to be burned very badly—every time—until we have vaccines and/or meds that work at scale.
Good advice. I think it's advice that people should take whenever they are dealing with the unknown. Especially with viruses that can burn quickly through an area if precautions are not taken.
When I was depopulating feral cat colonies (not killing them), we had the rabies pre-exposure series. On person did not, and said the chance of getting were remote.
Told him to google up human rabies and watch some of the videos on YouTube. And told him to remember it spreads primarily by saliva
He started his rabies pre-exposure series a couple of weeks later. LOL
