I've read that most of those donated supplies ended up being stolen for use by the PLA and the politburo. Very few reached the doctors and nurses who needed them.

I saw a red eye person who was sick in my last trip to the grocery store. Over a month ago. Very distinct kind of look. And yes it was weird coloration. Not the normal bloodshot eyes. Have no idea if that person had it, but the forehead was also sweaty.
