There are alternatives to toilet paper. May not be preferred....however, people survived prior to toilet paper.

When I was little right around 1960 for about five years we really did keep the old sears and monkey wards catalogues in the johnnyhouse. It was not for reading because nobody wanted to stay a moment longer than necessary with that open pit a couple of yards under your sitter. Those thin mailorder papers in the middle were the best.
Of course when we were in the woods we used big elm, sycamore or water oak leaves.
Went to the local Target this morning to score some TP. Really need it. Got 1 package of 27, thats all they carried. It should last 2 months. All the meats, cheeses, dairy, and frozen were stripped bare.
