...and Fauci is totally irresponsible in parroting this. The data simply does not exist to prove it. Flu is not a reportable illness, so the CDC can only estimate what the death rate is - assumed to be 0.1%. But no one knows for sure. Same with Covid-19 - the Case Fatality Rate (CFR) will not be known until all tested cases have been resolved (recovered or fatal). Even then, it is generally believed that the vast majority of people (80%???) either have no or mild symptoms. People who have been tested in WA state ( my home state, which has seen the most deaths) have been 93% negative.
