One dozen eggs or one gallon milk isn’t a problem. It’s not like natives haven’t seen it before after quakes, or snowstorms or floods. And it stops the ijits who buy out the entire shelf. So that doesn’t bother me.
California is a huge state. We have beer, bread, wine, veggies, fruit, eggs, beef, mutton, goat, chicken, fish, pork and cheese. Calif doesn’t have a food shortage. We have a common-sense shortage. If people would pull a two-day moratorium on shopping, the stores could get restocked.
And I’d like to thank the people crowding the grocery stores last night. While they were fighting over the frozen peas, we were able to pick up center cut prime rib from Texas Roadhouse, a very generous portion in appreciation for our patronage, curbside delivery, no waiting list, which we enjoyed at home while watching the new episode of Westworld.

“While they were fighting over the frozen peas...”
*chuckle*
I'll wait until it warms up more before I get takeout from Texas Roadhouse. We'll take chairs, a card table and flatware to eat it in the Roadhouse parking lot.
