haven’t heard of 4 cans of food limit anywhere in Calif. Kids are getting pre-packed school lunches - some districts giving multiple days. Nobody is starving 5 days into a quarantine except maybe the SS seniors with once-a-month checks, being elbowed out of the way. But we fixed that by giving seniors their own hours.
California people are raised from birth to have 2 weeks of food and water in case of earthquake. I don’t have much sympathy for the imports that don’t. And even less for families that don’t have 3 months cash reserves for unemployment or family emergencies, but have shiny new cars in their driveways. Their lack of priorities is not my emergency. (yes, I’m cranky this morning)
Two days ago there was a limit in my California town of one gallon of milk and one carton of eggs per customer.
