Different times, all men who rose to the challenges that faced the colonies and then the Union, all existential.

I just believe that Trump is markedly different in that

1. The complexities are orders of magnitude greater.
2. The fate of the whole world rests on his shoulders.

3. His brilliance is quite high. Jefferson’s was likely high as well but given the complexities on many different levels; in many different arenas; about many different factors are off the charts for what Trump has to deal with & navigate.

4. Trump seems to relish, enjoy such challenges & rise higher to the occasion to deal with them.

5. God was, no doubt, with all our founders to varying degrees. And certainly with Lincoln (interestingly a visitor to Heaven purportedly talked with Lincoln there). Nevertheless, I think God is orders of magnitude MORE with Trump and in many different impactful ways.

6. I think God’s observable anointing on Trump is markedly above any other anointing I’m aware of on the part of any of our other Presidents. I think Lincoln would be a moderately distant 2nd.

7. The contrast between the Marxist globalist 24/7/365 MSM etc. ignorant & treasonous assaults on Trump vs Trump’s massive effectiveness could not be sharper, more dramatic; span a greater gulf. I don’t think even Trump could pull it off without God’s very significant anointing, help & protection.

All writing history lean towards their own times as the most momentous. These times are big for the US, none of us were at Valley Forge, were present when enlistments would expire and the nascent army would dissolve. None present at Antietam, Gettysburg, Shiloh or the drive from Atlanta. None present for the Emancipation Proclamation as the disagreement roiled the citizenry.

We see these events from the front seat against a stubborn enemy who will be crushed by the grace of God. Rather we should rejoice that we can have an effect no matter small in these events.

Comparing leaders in their execution of their duty from different eras of history is fruitless because we can't experience the earlier trauma. Making the Nation and saving the Nation both epic monumental tasks. Let history's heroes rest. Instead of cheerleading, actively assist the current hero in his pursuit of restoring justice and freedom now.
