Re: limits of POTUS’s power
CEOs are no where near as powerful as POTUS. Even using a narrow view, you must account for the US Military and NSA and the immense force they wield. Moreover, I think you discount the power of the executive branch of government and the depth and breadth of its reach across every aspect of the USA and even the world. Unlike a corporate structure, the executive power of government arises from the Constitution as supported by the United States Code. The U.S. presidency is the most powerful legitimate position on planet earth. (Corporate structures are merely a fictional creation of the law.) Now, I must also say there are massive illegitimate powers on planet earth. Very complex, but those illegitimate powers are exactly who this war is being fought with. Q is an unprecedented military intelligence operation giving us a glimpse of what is happening in this war of power.
Well ... obviously corporate CEOs do not have military forces at their command, etc.
I should have made it more clear I was not talking about power in an absolute sense, but ability to command a large organization and master all the forces within it and external to it.
We can see some of the limitations on the President’s power every day ... the courts, the renegade House, the Deep State Department and so on. Even the Pentagon has many people who are not aligned with the President’s policies. Sometimes the President can’t even fire a traitor without getting harassed by a Special Counsel and then impeached.
I could go on and on, but the fact PDJT has been able to accomplish SO MUCH is freeQin amazing. He is a genius who learned a lot about politics from all his previous jobs: BUILDER ... BUSINESS PROMOTER ... and REALITY TV STAR.
I would go further ... tentatively ... that Trump is a rare individual who can change the course of history ... an American Caesar or Napoleon. We have had a few other Presidents of this stature, such as Washington and Lincoln.
But it is a very short list.
