While Q is busy and Q+ is busy with the virus, what I would like to be involved in is what did your grandparents and parents do back in the days??? What type of town did you live in??? You know, history...
I have in the last couple of days posted links about Utah, talked about Utah and my family history in Utah...I don’t know maybe that isn’t interesting but we have some on here that are my age that remember the stories of WW2 and the Depression, how they managed, and I’m sure there are some young ones on here that would benefit from reading the history of different places...I know they don’t teach history in school anymore...

I second Ransom’s plea to keep this thread *believable* and to not make us look like crack-pots. Beyond the Trees ™ already thinks we’re weird, we don’t need to feed their fantasy.
Folks posting UNDATED photos, with no sauce, is not helpful, especially when it feeds fear. (this is not directed at anyone here). If folks are worried about troops in town, go to DHS.gov and get the skinny. Don’t just sit there and continue to pass on bad, faulty news.
(oh, and if any oneof ya’ll think maybe Q or Q+ had any foreknowledge of the WuTang Flu and did nothing to protect us from it, you’re a crack-pot. Just sayin’)
I also think it’s delightful to get to know people more personally. I do truly appreciate how much you’ve shared about yourself.

The last event close to what we are seeing was the gas/sugar shortages of the seventies. Those of us with parents/grandparents from the depression and WWII era fully understand rationing/quarantine/restrictions to personal freedoms for the greater good when fighting a war or meeting a national/worldwide challenge. There is a huge mental difference in a tornado drill and drilling for an atomic blast.
Generations of millenials/X/Y/Z have NEVER seen or thought about what the next few months may ask of us as well as other nations of the world to defeat this WW epidemic.
The challenge to live in civility, sacrificially, and with a faith in our fellow man will lead us through turmoil we are now facing. Above all, we must remember to always call upon the name of the Lord for deliverance and the strength and perseverance we will all need to run the race that is before us.
The young generations will look to POTUS and those of us from the boomer generation for leadership during these troubled times. They will follow our lead, let us lead them as we were led by the greatest generation, lead them to victory as a way of life. Looking forward eagerly and with great hope, expecting to meet the challenges that face us now and in the future! A future with more Freedom than ever before with Liberty and Justice for all!
