Regarding the info that came to light yesterday about 30 million cell phone users in China that are no longer active, implying they are dead, how reliable is that information?
I don't mean in terms of technology, but in terms of intel.
If it is a reliable source, is it possible to derive geographic details from the same data source? That would be devastating news if a graphic could be produced that compared a before/after snapshot of cell phone traffic density.
That would be analogous to the nighttime satellite image of North Korea and South Korea showing the difference in availability to electricity and such a comparison could produce a photo worth much more than a thousand words.

I just saw a video that mentioned the off in usage. Basically all in China must use phone for everything. They get scores red, yellow, green. They are bring surveiled. Many may be protesting by turning them off.
