Just a thought: If I’m recalling correctly, in the color diagrams of the molecule, it looked as though one of the rabbit’s “legs” had a red “shoe.”

Tom Hanks is known for posting photos of one shoe lying around on his twitter feed. Maybe that’s how he conveyed news a new batch of Adrenochrome was available?
