So much information / numbers being left out of stories like this. Getting a better understanding of the big picture is difficult. We are getting numbers thrown at us like buckshot by writers who don’t understand statistical analysis in the least.

Well, now that my business has dropped by 100% I guess it will be easy enough, though very boring, to sit home and watch my financial future going down the crapper.

The city and county will still demand my property taxes to pay teachers and others who are not working, and take my home if I can’t pay them. Am I the only one disturbed by that? People who work for the government will now get paid by those of us who have no money coming in.

That's nothing new. Whatever happens to disrupt the economy or crash the markets, is paid for by the ordinary taxpayer in the private sector. And usually the large corporations and banks get bailed out with taxpayer money, but nobody does anything to help the small business owners and workers when they lose money due to economic disruptions and disasters.

disturbed by that?....I am not a govt employee and whatever I've saved in my 401K is IT....so losing so much of it to this hysteria is just almost too much to take....and I say that knowing full well we have this novel corona virus which is deadly for a small minority...but I think most of us are dying a slow death as we loose our retirement, our future, and our kids future....

wash you hands, etc....but we have gone off the deep end....
