That phrase is far more provable to what you are doing.

Did I hit a nerve? You are, in fact, promoting a dangerous perspective that *has* already killed people (NY cases largely linked to a person that chose to ignore the travel restrictions, for example). If that is your actual intent, then I suppose it isn’t stupid, just evil.
What I am advocating is that people be prepared to survive during the restrictions, lockdowns, quarantines, etc., that are already occurring here and that we saw coming FOR TWO MONTHS. Nothing I am doing is destroying any lives or virtually killing anyone, but what you are advocating is really killing people.
When this is over the number of dead will be much lower than it would otherwise have been, in spite of you and the other dangerous and stupid spreaders.
