STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.— Two patients at Richmond University Medical Center have died after testing positive for coronavirus (COVID-19), a spokesman for the hospital said Saturday.

Cuomo said New York City saw 1,803 of the new cases, bringing its total to 6,211, but by Saturday afternoon, the city said a total of 7,530 people in New York City had tested positive for COVID-19, including 45 people who died.
Queens has seen 2,077 of those cases; Manhattan has seen 1,791; Brooklyn has seen 2,275; the Bronx has seen 1,005 and Staten Island has seen 375, according to the city.
New York state has more than 8,300 cases and 53 deaths alone; the five boroughs account for about two-thirds of both those totals.
More than 40 people in the city, and 68 across the tri-state, have died. (New Jersey making up 16 of these deaths)
