A Newnan woman has become Coweta County’s first COVID-19 related death.

The 42-year-old woman did not have any underlying health issues and reportedly worked as a local health care worker, according to Coweta County Coroner Richard Hawk.

Donalsonville Hospital employee dies after testing positive for COVID-19

DONALSONVILLE, Ga. (WDHN) — An employee of Donalsonville Hospital has died after testing positive for COVID-19, according to a post by the hospital.

The employee, who did not live in Seminole County, tested positive at another facility before passing away.
