Daniel Horowitz of Conservative Review made an interesting observation on March 16, 2020.

He tweeted, “Nearly the entire outbreak in NY came from a traveler from Iran, a place that was supposed to have a travel ban, but thanks to lower courts continuing to militate against Scotus decision, it was rendered moot. “

Thanks for explaining that important detail. I couldn’t link to the article to read it because all the pop-up ads froze my computer. But if it didn’t fully explain what you’re saying then it would appear the article is a little misleading.

How do you stand it, Miss Didi?

I have lived for most of my life in California. I finally saw a way out 10 years ago, and have been living in Idaho since then.

I didn’t realize how much I hated my vote being absolutely worthless, until I left. I also had simply grown numb to being surrounded by Liberal crazies and had to re-awaken to the fact that not all of America is like that.

Like New York State, California is ruled politically by its population center(s), so the State, itself, is not aligned substantially with its government. Yet these States and their politics have large national sway over other, saner, States.

I am sorry if it offends you, but “flyover country” doesn’t like it.

As I said, 9-11 made made me feel more united with New York than ever, since, and even before.

America is certainly strongest as a team, all pulling together. But, where New York is pulling, I don’t want to go. New York politics enjoys its national power and doesn’t care, so neither do I.

As a New Yorker I find it very offensive.

Int'l Refugee Assistance Project v. Trump
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Int%27l_Refugee_Assistance_Project_v._Trump

The two district judge-presidents involved were Derrick Watson of the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii [D-ClownBammy, & a Resistance "judge"], and Theodore Chuang of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland [D-ClownBammy, & also a Resistance "judge"].

On May 8, 2017, acting Solicitor General of the United States Jeffrey Wall and American Civil Liberties Union attorney Omar Jadwat appeared before the 13-judge en banc Fourth Circuit for two hours of oral arguments in Richmond, Virginia's Lewis F. Powell Jr. United States Courthouse.

On May 25, 2017, the Fourth Circuit issued an opinion upholding the March ruling of the Maryland district court, and continuing the block of the travel ban.

Chief Judge Roger Gregory [joint Rapin Bill/Dubya judge] wrote the majority opinion, joined in full by judges Diana Gribbon Motz [Rapin Bill], Robert Bruce King [Rapin Bill], James A. Wynn Jr. [ClownBammy judge], Albert Diaz [ClownBammy], Henry Franklin Floyd [ClownBammy], and Pamela Harris [ClownBammy]. Judge William Byrd Traxler Jr. [Rapin Bill] concurred in the judgment only, and Judges Barbara Milano Keenan [ClownBammy] and Stephanie Thacker [ClownBammy] concurred in substantial part and concurred in the judgment.

Judges J. Harvie Wilkinson III [Reagan judge], whose daughter is married to Wall, and Allyson Kay Duncan [Dubya judge] recused themselves.

It's my contention that California has six US senators, and counting.

CA - 2
NV - 2
AZ - 1
CO - 1

They're working on wrapping up the other senators in AZ and CO by exporting the Calif-ate-your-state virus...

See post #66 for the makeup of the Fourth Circuit.

Do you think a federal judge should prevent the return of a US citizen traveling abroad?
