LDAs? Hmm, Freudian thing there, LDS is what I should have typed.
But when they arose early the next morning, behold, Dagon had fallen on his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD. And the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off on the threshold; only the trunk of Dagon was left to him.
1 Samuel 5:4 NASB
At some point...every knee will bow and every tongue will confess He is Lord.
I agree MHG. Many Mormons are well educated and great people, but it begs the question. If, after having been told the truth, about the REAL Trinity of the Bible, the Mormons continue to cling to their Mormon doctrines and religion, what does that tell you?
What does it tell me?... That satan knows how to appeal to the religion pique in the human soul caused by the absence of Life in the human spirit. That pique is founded in the human pride which says ‘I’m not really so bad, I do good things just not all the time ‘cause I’m the way God made me, flawed.’ God gives every human a spirit as descendants from Adam. Sadly, Adam chose to follow his pride and the glow of God’s righteousness departed from his spirit leaving him with a living soul and a dead spirit therein. The spirit is made for one life to animate it, God Life. The yrge to have religion is caused by the dead spirit juxtaposed with an alive, sinning soul.
I believe you are correct sir. Let me add my own little speculative thought on that. I think it means, that sometime, possibly before being tossed into the lake of fire, even unbelievers will bow their knee to Jesus.
Since the spiritually dead, were not willing to bow the knee, here on earth. What makes anyone think they will be willing to bow the knee after physical death?
Maybe its more like angels, or Christians in their glorified bodies, or both, who go and slam the unbelievers to their knees. Maybe the damned sinners will forever bare the scars, of having been slammed to their knees. Just my opinion. 😁
I think this only applies to folks that actually POST on FR; as they'd be the ones complainin' 'bout it.
Just as 'Dead men tell no tales'; it's the live ones that break the rules.
That can't be right; for ol Joe told a tale and it's STILL with us today; and so forth.
But; it mattereth not, as there are those; who, like Orsen Wells; continue to insert into the narrative that it's only fiction after all.
And it shows.
And when they do; it is ALWAYS unanimous!
(Kinda makes me wonder why you guys NEED 12!)
Twelve?
Heck; even your three gods are ONE-in-Purpose; so why have THREE?
You always do this .... thinking that somehow because you quoted someone who was a Church Member ... or even a Church Leader .... that somehow everyone in the Church must conform to that.
Yet YOU continue to complain about some creed that you've heard about!
Well; do you OPENLY believe this or not?
Im in a high position of my ward!
My Son is 1st Councilor in the Young Mens Class!
My Father is on the Stake High Council!
You must be SO proud.
Do all of you have Temple Recommends?
HMMMmmm...
Lost?
Deceived??
Anxious???
That they are human.
NO one likes to admit that they have been fooled in such a manner.
We consider ourselves to be smart; able to detect error and to come to correct conclusions on just a smattering of data.
While a Chevy or a Ford will get you where you want to go; and a Mac or a PC will add 2+2 for you; the LDS vs Christianity thing isn't mere trash talking; but a war for the souls of men, boys, women and 1-13 y.o. girls.
Or there is the other thing...
...the serpent said to the woman. For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.
--Genesis 3:4a-5
The only thing in this Church that is doctrine is either scripture or has been signed by all members of the 12-Apostles (which doesnt happen very often).
Since wearing of the 'garment' is NOT found in ANY of your scriptures; that fact that you guys do so MUST be some statement from the 12; right?
Could you post a link to this proclamation?

So; where is your WIFE in all of this?
