The Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Headquarters for Disease Control and Prevention (Director Eun-Kyung Jung) announced that as of March 19 at 00:00, the total cumulative number of confirmed patients was 8,565, of which 1,947 were quarantined. The number of new confirmed patients was 152, and the number of patients in quarantine decreased as the number of quarantine increased by 407.

By the way, are local governments checking our water supply for the virus? I know normal treatment should kill CV, but still...
Where are the other 6618 who aren’t quarantined? Or are they self quarantined and pinky swearing they’re not out getting soup and going to the salon?
If we can keep our tallies in line with SK (adjusted for relative population), or even 5x (pop. adjusted), that’d surely be a “win”. The fatality rate is concerning, but the denominator surely is way low - what is a “confirmed patient”, anyway? A “positive” test result?

How are flu (real flu) deaths going in countries hit hard by COVID-19, such as Italy? This is no “flu bros” comment: What I’m getting at is that almost certainly flu deaths jump too, once hospitals are overwhelmed.
(Anyone else can answer too, if they’ve seen any data.)
