I saw that report on OANN, and CNBC, today.

I’m thinking...great, I’m the one who - up until a couple of weeks ago - has been putting on gloves, moving packages to a designated porch area, and spraying, allowing to dry.

I wasn’t letting them sit for days :-(

I have been, lately, though.

What’s a good disinfecting process for items that you need sooner than a week?

Anyone have ideas?

Right now, I’m leaving all boxes on the front porch, and that’s where I open them.

I try to wait at least a day, but If it’s something I need soon, I spray the box with Lysol and leave it a few hours. Then I come back with mask and gloves, open and wipe the contents with bleach wipes. I let it sit for around 30 minutes then bring them inside.

If it’s something that can wait, I just push it with my foot to the end of the porch and cover with a tarp and open it after a week or so.

Maybe put them out in direct sunlight to kill the virions?
