Getting closer to puberty. Some ‘adult’ related things start to get upregulated then.
It’s a spectrum though.
Probably better off if you’d gotten them in first grade. Or younger.
I really don’t remember having them at all. My mom saw the swollen glands and thought either mumps or dental issues. Ped reassured her, ‘just the mumps’. My baby book is a plethora of arcane medical information.
I hardly remember chicken pox. It was a rash. I may have had mumps worse but when the wife wanted kids once was plenty both times.
