She was a fine hound for the family, very protective and good watch dog. She had her barks for, it’s the meter reader, it’s a deer. Then there were the get your butt out here something is amiss bark! Sadly she lived 13 yrs. and passed away last summer from old age.

My wife decided to get another dog and we ended up with two white german shepherd rescue pups around 10 months old. They are huge and total wuss bags as watch dogs. Only one will bark and then only at my daughters boyfriends truck-not his car. And they try and climb in to ride if anyone opens their car door in the driveway. Big goobers!

lol- they sound like goobers- our lab was kinda like that too- a big goofball- We had an old english sheep dog- she was more refined- her job was to protect the property- and she took it serious- not aggressive, but just to alert us if someone arrived- or an animal tried making their home nearby- she was a good dog- mostly quiet- almost regal acting- but alert for dangers- and very friendly but dignified lol-
