yes in two days the virus will stop reproducing. but NOT in those conditions you gave. As people try to stay cool.
Our nasal cavities operate at a temperature between 91 to 95 deg F. This test shows raising the temperature of the nasal cavities the virus does not reproduce as easily at 98 deg F. Our lungs operate at 97 deg F and isn't the area the virus reproduces.

The rhinovirus is different than the corona virus. There are no ACE2 receptors in the nasopharynx. ACE2 receptors are in the lower lunger allowing for replication and entry into the body.

Temperature has nothing to do with coronavirus replications except for the reduction in fomites on outside surfaces.

a rhinovirus is not a corona virus. One is an upper respiratory infection and one is not.

effects of external temp on a virus are not the same as the effects of body temp on a virus. Because there are other factors to external environments. UV, evaporation rate, type of surface - porous or no, type of fabric, viral load, etc. etc.

The study you linked to, substantiates what I said - the lungs are 98.6F. And the virus is quite happy there setting up housekeeping in the alveoli. Even happier with a fever - at which point there will be trillions of the little buggers.
