Appreciate your chart.

I sure would like to see “deaths per day” recorded somewhere.
It tells the most about covid IMO ( of course I’m too lazy to do it).
Also it would make a great metric for those who compare covid damage to the flu. But never seen that metric for the flu.
It’s so hard to get usable info. Appreciate those who try to present it.

What should be included is cases as related to testing, for cases going up because of more testing does not necessarily mean cases increasing, although hospital admissions can.

It is often hard to get what you want from the CDC. (I collect stats ) One page has a section labelled, How many people died from flu during the 2017-2018 season? , but it does not tell you, so you need to search the Web. Do you want to know how many women or men in the US have a STD around 2017? Keep looking.
