Yes, said that decades ago when schools put in a/c and did away with windows that opened. Right there is why we have such a problem with the regular flu. These days, schools close left and right for flu season but we never had that problem back in the ‘70s.
Nothing really dissolves but toilet paper.

I will state again. Many more people will die from the stress related to the hysteria then the virus itself.
Around here the cause of schools closing is almost always because on an outbreak of norovirus. Which is disgusting enough.
Agreed. The worst thing you can do to a home is put paper towels down the toilet. It works as a cement in the pipes.
Yes. I don’t really care what they believe, but I do care that people will be put in harm’s way by this thinking. As I’ve said previously, my son does contract work in a hospital setting every day with inadequate PPE because his boss had this mindset. He has since changed his tune, but no one can get PPE now.

Sounds to me that the virus/ influenza, may have mutated (?).
The characteristics of the virus impacting on only the elderly may have changed indicating a mutant variant, perhaps regionalized .. ?

In Taiwan, the lady running the country assumed the worst, got a really good dentist (if you can believe it), and basically had him take over control of the country - and take steps many weeks before other infected countries were able to figure out that Communists (i.e., China and their WHO puppets) lie. The result is a very contained virus. The woman is a national hero (along with the dentist). Taiwan’s response started on Jan 1 by checking every inbound traveler.
If Trump had done the same, he would have RIDICULED for panicking over nothing. Trump really had no political choice, as I see it. He needed to let the virus spread...or no one would have believed him, including many/most who support him (and there are still daily Flubros here). That’s how bad things are in this country.
Trump was really in the same position as FDR going into World War 2 - he had to deal with a country that was simply not ready to confront a huge challenge, not even close - so FDR let us take a gut-punch to get point across (at least as far as I’m concerned).
Question - when we have home isolation rooms, we know to not have on the a/c so the only other option is to open the isolation room’s windows. The south is already getting hot. So, how do you keep the virus from getting into the yard where kids and pets bring it inside or it floats on the breeze back into the safe part of the house?
The elementary school I attended in the 60s used to have an entire wall of windows you could open in each classroom. About 20 years ago the district bricked them up, leaving only a single window in each classroom. I always wondered about the lack of air circulation, especially not getting fresh air.

And most of those are hiding out from the Chinese storm troopers who’s job it is to cart off people never to be seen again.

The Buc-ees stores, in TX, have to put up signs, en espanol, in their restrooms to please flush tp....and, NOT put it in the trash cans. Lots of buses from Mexico stop at Buc-ees.
