Your point may be valid but your incorrect data undermines it. Deaths are 97 today. In a week they will be over 300. The week after that near 1,000. After that we’ll see how much impact the measures have had. Will be 1,500 to 3,000. I believe our prayers will be answered and this will slow down in 3 to 4 weeks. 2 weeks would be a miracle. Perhaps antidotes will be found, warmer weather will weaken this, or it will mutate to ineffectiveness (unlike the 1918 flu which came back is a stronger second wave). Or perhaps the wise counter-measures will make the difference. However God solves this is fine with us.

I’m not an alarmist; this is reality. People are walking around as carriers for 2 to 10 days not knowing they are infecting others. Even if we stop all new infections NOW (isn’t happening) the already infected people are going to show up in the numbers. A few days ago OK had 2 cases in different cities. Now it’s 10 scattered across the state. I have a source that just one hospital has 7 more cases yet to be reported.

Drastic shutdowns HAVE to occur to stop this. Has it occurred to you the Dems are in states/cities with concentrated urban populations? Of course they are going to take action first.

Our mistake as a nation was not quarantining everyone coming into the US mid-January. Cities and states are making the same mistake if they delay. The real issue is that more states / cities aren’t shutting down. Research Taiwan to see what they did. Also research Gunnison CO during the Spanish Flu 1918 epidemic.

What are you talking about? I knew it would come to our shores quickly. In January, when I first heard about it wrecking havoc in China, I started preparing. I wish I had taken even stronger measures to stay safe, but I didn’t want to appear like a nut.
