The numbers can tell you the story.

If the virus was allowed to work its will uninterrupted it would take a month and a half to infect anyone that could be infected.

To the extent social distancing slows that down, it will take longer.

At this point my guess is that the school year is over for this year.

Almost certainly, unless this virus magically goes away. The only reason schools and governments are not shutting down that long is the very slight chance that things could improve in the next couple of months.

I agree with you. The question will quickly become "Will the new school year will start up again in August or September?"

School is over for many states. TX and others have requested to waive the STARR test.
