Here in Idaho I got tri- tips, sirloins, t-bones, etc walking all over. Negotiations with the neighbor gets me meat. Spud cellars are everywhere, again negotiations ensue me some. Being an old farm boy there ain’t nothing I can’t butcher or can. I feel for the city bound folks but I can kill it and grill it. Springs coming and I’m going to grow me some more groceries. Vote in stupid, get stupid. In the red flyover country, we country folks WILL survive.

I hear you - freezers all around us are filled with moose, venison & turkey. Bartering is just as alive now as it was for our relatives in the 1700’s. There’s nothing we wouldn’t do for our neighbors - they’re family as far as we’re concerned.
