It's another thing to hoard medical supplies during a pandemic.
To save their soiled names, they donated it.
You should’ve seen the shamed look on his face in the interview. Priceless.
He still doubled-down and said he’d do it all over again if he could after mulling it over for about 10 seconds. LOL
Not to mention the logical fallacy of false equivalence.
Avoid drama headlines. It was not seized.
I agree with you regarding his whining - but you’re on a slippery slope if you believe raiding his property is fine. Where does that line get drawn?
If the market runs out of .22 cal ammo and my neighbor has 500k rounds, can the authorities raid his home?

Red Flag him,
or
Call EPA enforcement, for the lead.
Happens every day. Some of it the government keeps, some of it ends up in the pocket or up the nose of the LEOs who take it.
I do not condone their soulless behavior, but they need to go to court and sue the state.
Ref EpiPen:
I replaced my expired EpiPen just this week.
My costshare was $92. This was for ONE EpiPen.
I was shocked.
In response to the backlash, the Colvins pledged to donate the unsold items to health agencies or a church
“Still dont know why they put their story in the paper.”

Agreed the laws are stupid. But there would Still be hoarding shortages, just not as many and they would be overcome more quickly.

10h HAPPENING NOW: Matt did not answer our calls so we went to his storage unit. The AGs office was on the scene facilitating with the donation. This is the 3rd stop theyve been to this morning to gather the sanitizer. @WRCB
Doesn't fit your headline
What I read was the AG told them they could not price gouge.
Looks like they are donating the stuff to those that need it.
I don’t believe raiding his property is fine, but he set himself up for it by being a spoiled little brat and going public about it.
I, along with others, legitimately are very angry at them because a lot of people (Nursing Homes, Hospitals, Doctors Officers, Shelters etc.) need these supplies way more than these two retards.
Karma has a way of working itself out no matter what. He ended up trying to save face by donating his supply and losing tens of thousands - hopefully more.
This should be a lesson to “preppers” out there who think they can make windfall profits off of hoarding supplies in the digital age.
1. You will be busted quickly
2. You will be shamed mercilessly in public
3. You will be given the options to give it or have it
taken
4. If this was a true SHTF scnario, don’t plan on
surviving with this mentality
The rules are changing very fast because of what is happening.
If you lived in a State with a tiny population, this would not end well for those doing the confiscating. Everybody knows where they live. There would be a backlog of funerals.
Welcome to the police state.
Put them up against the wall as an example for others.
People advocating what you propose also eventually get put up against a wall for some perceived injustice. Ask Bernie how that works.
