Under what provision of the constitution does this idiot or any idiot have the right to do this?

This is a taking of private property. Are they ready to give “Just Compensation” for lost revenue?

I didn’t hear his news conference and I agree there is hysteria and overreaction, but states have far broader “police powers” than the federal government does. I think these actions are plainly permissible under California law.

Oh, you just wait. Governor Nuisance will undoubtedly appeal to Congress for "just compensation" of lost revenue. Lost revenue to the California Treasury, that is.

Anybody who thinks he's just going to watch all that sales tax money not come in from bars and restaurants has another think coming.

You obviously don’t know the law.

The police powers of the state in an emergency are almost unlimited and they have been held constitutional for over a hundred fifty years.
