how does he not ask for a lawyer first when FBI come knocking?

That said, I hope he has some sort of law-suit in the works to get back whatever he lost financially.

Basically, she says McCabe told Flynn he didn't need a lawyer. They didn't let him know he was the one being investigated. And since Flynn had worked with the FBI before, he considered them allies and friends.

Y didn’t Flynn get a lawyer day 1 for FBI? Based on my experience he did not think they would frame him and he thought he had.nothing to hide. Also he was NOT a Criminal Investigator, so he thought he would be treated to the respect and courtesy his rank and positions rightfully entitled him to. Indeed all American citizens are entitled to. JMO.
