I wonder if the order by the state covers the Indian casinos or other places on tribal land? I recall working at a site in Idaho and I mentioned to the client I had contemplated staying at the fancy new Indian casino/ hotel, but opted for the old one-story place so I could park my truck outside my room.

“Good decision. The Indian hotel doesn’t have to abide by the local building codes.”

I have no idea if that is true or not.
