Padre Dam is committed to providing its customers with safe and reliable water that is both available and plentiful.
Drinking Water Safety Padre Dam receives 100 percent of our drinking water supply from the San Diego County Water Authority water treatment plants. The final process of water treatment includes disinfection, which inactivates viruses, including the coronavirus. Water is tested throughout Padre Dam's system on a daily basis to ensure it maintains a consistent disinfectant residual level. (chlorine).
