I agree. Some of this panic is undoubtedly being produced by the way Trump is being portrayed (the usual buffoon, his speeches sucked, blaming him for the lack of tests, etc. I presume). This is not a contradiction of Wu Flu being a serious thing however. These runs on toilet paper, supplements and food, in a sense, are the masses being more sensible than they have in years, IMO.

They literally are doing everything they can to not cause panic, while at the same time to get you to stay home, wash your hands, and stop touching your face.
