I have a daughter who is in the home health care field who has been ill for the last few days. She has been told that she will not be tested and she visits 5+ shut-ins a day. She is quarantined currently, but I know you can still be contagious even after symptoms are gone. She doesn’t want to kill grandmas.
This extreme rationing of testing is insane. Seems as though you have to rich and famous to get medical attention.
Why is the testing a major factor would your daughter continue to go to work among the elderly if she has the flu?? I would certainly hope not , the flu and colds are just as deadly to the elderly what the hell does a test do for anyone!! Just STAY HOME and get well it doesn’t make a damn bit of difference what illness you have especially if you work with the elderly!!!
