Level headed thinking people like yourself realize that Truck stops-for example, get visited by thousands of drivers each day. They come from all over the USA. They travel from places like Seattle and drive across the country, stopping all along the way.

I dont see anything like that being proposed, and I hope it never happens. But think about that. They close schools, churches, no gatherings of over 50 people, etc. But what most likely will spread it MORE than anything is interstate commerce. Rest homes and schools I can agree with, but to panic like they have? NO

Right after the shut down the restaurants and bars phase, when they close all businesses except grocery and pharmacy, they are going to make the truck stops fuel only.

They states are already closing the rest areas. They can't keep them clean and the restrooms will be significant vectors.

Agree. These new measures are doomed to fail. Nature will work it’s course and in a week or two we’ll be at 100 or so fatalities per day. Then what? Domestic travel ban? Hello, bankrupt airline industry. But given they way the airlines and their stocks are acting today that cake is probably already baked.
