Since a lot of meds come from India, I would be my last dollar that they are scrambling to start production of the active ingredients so they can produce and sell it themselves.

Not that we’ve heard of it, but if I were in their position, that’s what I would be doing.

What a potential boost for their economy.

I was just informed by Dr. Moynihan, the head of the House Physicians Office, that my coronavirus test was NEGATIVE.

I’m very grateful and like everyone else will follow the best practices to stay negative.

MGM shutting down all properties in vegas until april...others will follow suit.

Saw that Indiana closed their casinos as per their gaming commission.

You are still reading comprehension impaired.

You bring up all sorts of non relevant points that were never mentioned as if they somehow prove your case, like China, but what ever.

“Fact; 85% of cases are self limited or asymptomatic”

People keep saying that, but where does the stat come from? It comes from the people that are tested due to contact tracing. Otherwise it’s just your made-up number.

“Fact: This use be integrated into the model”

We don’t have a real statistical base for analysis, so, again, unless they are getting the stat from the tested people, it’s just your made-up number.

“Fact: I have not once said I trust the Chinese numbers, I only refer to South”

If you think that the Panda reference meant you were presenting an argument based on Chinese data, that was an unwarranted leap. Or maybe you are actually a CCP dude and worry about giving yourself away. What ever. My argument is with your bogus manipulation of WA numbers.

BTW, S. Korea is up to 0.9% and with the comprehensive testing they are doing, both random and as part of contact tracing, they have relatively few new cases daily now. Most of the cases they have, have not yet resolved, so there will be more deaths and that 0.9% will sadly grow.

“Fact: If 85% are asymotimatic or do not contact health care system, how in the hell can the be a part of the statistics”

Exactly my point! Thank you!

How do you count them if they don’t even realize they are sick and/or don’t contact anybody? In order for them to be counted someone has to know about them - because they were tested as part of contact tracing! If they existed outside the testing, being so numerous, they would either show up in random testing (not happening) or as new clusters (not happening). They are, in fact, part of the tested contacts.

Your argument suggests that there are huge numbers of infected out there that we simply can’t find by testing (somehow test negative), but who show no symptoms (or they would self-report) and can’t infect other people (else new clusters would be popping up everywhere).

People that test negative for a disease, don’t show symptoms and can’t infect others are called - wait for it - ‘healthy’ (or at least ‘negative for CV’).

Also, please proof read and complete sentences. Perfection is not expected but you leave sentences unfinished and words out of almost every post.

But have a good night, stay safe and healthy and, again, thanks for proving my point.

To heck with privacy. How about telling where this guy is from so his neighbors will know to not go out for more tp.

https://www.statesman.com/news/20200315/two-more-coronavirus-cases-confirmed-in-austin-health-officials-say

“Neither patient is an Austin resident, officials say. The woman’s case was linked to the Houston area, where she is from, and the man contracted the virus from outside the city. He was sent to an Austin-area hospital from an undisclosed rural part of the state.

City officials declined to say where the man is from because he’s from a small community and releasing details could “risk compromising the privacy of the patient.”

I really wish the serious people on this thread - the people who’ve been here since the thread’s inception - would stop being baited by newcomers.

Maybe we should let the thread go to sleep until tomorrow. Hopefully the newcomers with idiotic viewpoints will be sleeping it off then.

Jerky

Slightly free the meat so it holds up to slicing. Slice thin. Dip into soy sauce. Place onto dehydrator trays. Sprinkle on pepper. Settings and time differs one each machine. Dehydrate until leathery. Place in zip lock bags.

Good idea. I think I will go read a book as well. No information on the thread tonight. I hope the disruptors go away. Go have another drink or something.
