Dr Fauci is doing his job just fine, thank you. He has done nothing to deserve firing that I’ve seen. President Trump has set up a great and competent team to manage this outbreak under his leadership.

I agree. He has stated that the mask shortage is a “failure” - so of course the MSM declared that a failure of the President. Then Fauci came back and said he meant a “failure of the CDC”.

I agree with you, unless these late reports show that he broke the law. Then he needs to be fired.
If these reports are not accurate, I do think Dr. Fauci should stay on as long as the President trusts him. However, I think Dr. Fauci is a bit too negative to remain in the position he’s in and should be kept in the back room where he can work to find a cure, make improvements to Covid treatments. Maybe that way he can turn a lot of the pessimist thoughts into something more positive.
We are now in recovery mode and we need a Dr. who can manage our way back to normalcy. None of this “we’ll never be able to go back to a pre-covid lifestyle”. Too negative and not acceptable. Dr. Fauci needs to get in the lab and fix things. Not create panic and fear.
It’s probably better for this move to be made right after the election unless some kind of a bombshell drops such as the story going around.
