Do you see any tent cities set up to provide intensive care?
Think how long it would take to set up some, fully equipped and fully staffed.
NYC may hit the wall as soon as a week from today, almost certainly two weeks from today.
Ditto for Seattle, San Jose, SF, Boston and maybe a few days later DC.
Then the patients needing care double every two, three, four, five days, pick your number.
For another month or two after that...
I won’t make any predictions on tent cities, but I can tell you that the Army Corps of E’s and any service branch medical unit can erect a tent and have it equipped in about 4 hours, with a coffee break and a nap. Ok, maybe not a coffee break. :)
