I think I’m going to wrap the bread in the freezer as well. I think the frozen veggies should be OK, since they have their own special packaging.
For some reason, don’t put the bread against the wall. It does better in the middle. Yeah, that messes up the stuffed space.
Eat the oldest first so you don’t get freezer burn. If anything starts to look like it might be getting freezer burn, eat it today/now/first. With meat, the burn can be cut off and cooked for the dog. Use the remaining for a spicy dish so any off flavor will be hidden. Cut the meat into small pieces so the spice can penetrate more than large pieces.
Watch out for old vegetables. Those need to go into the trash as there’s no saving them. They shrivel up and well, just no. Or toss them in the compost pile.
The top layer of ice cream can be scraped off so that it’s fine in the middle. Perhaps put the top part into a smoothie or feed it to the dog.
Yes, the veggie bags are better.
However, the boxes wrapped in paper might need to be wrapped as well. Those don’t seem particularly airtight.
