Ok, so here is where we are personally... in my county and surrounding we are doubling cases every 2 days and are up to 64 (probably 640 but I digress...). My husband decided to pull the plug and move to our quarantine camper. We have high risk - me, an elderly parent, and a child with asthma and other health issues. I wasnt worrying about him, except some of the news lately seems to show a shift to younger population getting severe illness...
My husband is in a service industry that will likely have him working deep into an outbreak, and he is face to face with 40-50 people per day. Hes super healthy, on Keto, I think he would come through CV the best of all of us.
Well, my sons last exposure to anyone was Tuesday when he played a sports game. One of his teammates is running a high fever today. So, at first I was like, no big deal, because that 5 days ago and the kid wasn’t symptomatic. But my son said to me, what if he was exposed at the same venue as his teammate. So he decided to hang out in the basement a few days and take his temp a few times per day. He doesnt really mind, as his computer and gaming setup is down there, lol.
Anyway, this all is hitting wayyyy to close to home. I did a deep clean today, bleached the house top to bottom, changed out air filters, turned off HVAC and opened windows.
I KNOW the odds are we are going to get sick. My hopes are we get sick
closer to the end when there is a better understanding of the virus, treatment, if any and hospital beds.
Shekinah Glory to you and yours. “Come quickly Lord Jeusues Christos”

Hang in there LilFamer, you and your family are doing all the right things and you will get through this.
High fever is the key to knowing whether you have the virus.
Hang in there. The mind is the worst enemy in these situations. The kid could very likely have the flu or another virus.
Sounds like a very good and well thought plan and process.
Prayers for your family.
We’re all in a similar situation, I am sure. Hopefully, others have planned as well as you and your family have.
