LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson announced Thursday that there are now six presumptive cases of the coronavirus in Arkansas.
Positive tests for the virus were reported in Saline, Jefferson, Grant and Pulaski counties. Schools in those counties have been temporarily closed.
According to Hutchinson, four of those who tested positive had contact with a patient in Pine Bluff who was the first person in the state to test positive. One person is a UAMS Medical Center employee who was working at Arkansas Children's Hospital.
Arkansas Department of Health Director Nate Smith said the first person to test positive contracted the virus in New Orleans during Mardi Gras.
A "presumptive case" means a person has tested positive for the virus, officially known as COVID-19, and test results have been sent to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for confirmation.
Governor Asa Hutchinson has been a puppet for the People's Republic of China for years. Several million $ of Arkansas Tax money was used to attract this Chinese "business" . Clark County economic development officials are taking steps to market the property they once had hoped would be the site of a $1.8 billion paper mill employing 350 people, a situation they said the company blamed on the simmering trade war between the United States and China.
Announced with great fanfare nearly four years ago, the project by Shandong Sun Paper Industry would have provided 1,000 additional jobs in the logging industry and 2,000 to construct the mill.

When will we stop falling for these con-artists, like Asa Hutchinson and J.D. Grear who keep shouting that they’re pro-life while undermining every conservative principle they can?
Hint: They’re not really pro-life. They just found the right buzz word to get into the party so they can destroy it from the inside.
Thre are actually more - the hospital in Pine Bluff (where Arkansas’s “patient zero” caused the hospital to go into lockdown) has 14 employees who are symptomatic and have been tested - the samples now in the hands of the CDC for validation. One of those employees is a lifelong friend of mine - he is under full quarantine.
