The administration seems to be trying to walk a fine line of quelling fear without appearing callous ... pointing out that the only people really threatened are those of advanced age with serious pre-existing medical conditions and those with compromised immune systems such as long-term AIDS survivors whose systems may have been permanently damaged before the AIDS treatment regimens were available.

BOTTOM LINE: No reason for panic.

Hopefully Wall Street gets that message soon. I am a MAGA Bull.

I've been reading that the market decline has been driven by huge short selling, not by selling of actual shares. It would be worse except that real people, attracted by the bargains, are actually buying stocks.

I think the short sellers got caught with their pants down when Trump gave a calming speech just before market close on Friday, hence the huge spike just before the close.
