My understanding is that you have gold to maintain wealth and you have silver to trade with. Not knowledge, just what I have heard. I assume “Fight Club” rules apply to any gold you have.

Gold is also part of the Mormon folklore. They set up in Utah right around the time of the gold rush, and partially funded their “kingdom” with gold donated by a member who had mines out in California. Then they converted an indian chief whose tribe supposedly controlled some hidden gold mines in the mountains and the legend is that this indian chief told the Mormons the secret location of the mines, but it was lost to history somewhere along the way. Mormon treasure hunters are still out there searching for it to this day.

I don’t know. First time I ever laid eyes on Beck years ago I knew right away he wasn’t right in the head. Just a gut feeling I had. We humans have ancient impulses and a kind of emotional radar that helped us to avoid danger. Today we call it ‘’gut instinct’’.
