i lived in the third world much of my life. the idea of janitors selling bats for extra cash is 100% believable, though we will never really know the truth.
What gets me about China and disease is almost all of them come from China. Ebola is the only one I can think of that didn’t come from China. Bird flu, Swine flu, Sar’s, COVID-19, and many more all originated in China. Isn’t Africa a dirtier place than China? If China can’t clean up it’s act, why doesn’t the WHO or the UN or some other organization penalize them until they clean up their country?

The "Chinese Apology" is a belligerent denial, in great detail, of everything that they just did. And the people who just did it, get fired. Or shot, depending on the severity of the problem.
