Good morning, world.
I ventured out into the nearest suburbs (I live way out in the sticks) and checked out the nearest N. CT Walmart.
My mission: See what it is like out there and then top off on some stuff. I came in just after rush hour was over so traffic was light. My theory was that Walmart would have had time to restock after the normal weekend rush.
The only totally empty aisle was the toilet paper/paper towel aisle. Not good. I have plenty so no big deal here, but still..
They were very low on garbage bags, but I did find a large package of tall kitchen bags (there was only one) so I grabbed that.
The canned food area was picked through heavily, but I did pick up some more tuna fish.
No issues in the dog food aisle—grabbed some more for man’s best friend. He now has enough food to outlast any zombie apocalypse at this point.
Most of the rest of the store looked normal.

This US by state data set has been updated (see the tabs—as of this moment the latest was updated on midnight).
It looks like some of the data that was corrected here (KY and VA info) has now been updated and matches what was discussed here last night:
That’s about how my walmert is here.
It’s not at hurricane about to make landfall levels, but people are stocking up, which is a smart thing to do.
