I just got a five-gallon bucket of 100% alcohol to make hand sanitizer. Two weeks ago I looked at the stack of hand sanitizer at Costco and was tempted to buy some more. “Naw - I have plenty!”
Well, now that the stores are empty, and I gave some to my kids and elderly neighbors - crap! Nothing like the prospect of not being able to buy a $1 bottle (6 oz) at the Dollar Store to make you think the ten 32 oz. bottles you bought 6 weeks ago (on sale!) isn’t enough.
is the 100% alcohol you got ethyl alcohol or isopropyl alcohol.
Beware the 100% ethyl alcohol, it might be ‘dried out’ with chemicals you might not want to dunk your hand in, just sayin’.
