I believe the L type is here in Florida- via Italy, but it could be both. I read (not verified) in a study that some patients have both strains at the same time.
So much we don’t know.

OMGosh, L is in FL? I guess the two who died had the L strain. Guess it’s time to hunker down.
Definitely at least one FL fatality can be traced to recent travel from Italy. Italy has an extremely aggressive virus mutation, with overwhelmed health services.
