I just had a thought - could this “scare” and self hibernation so to speak, be a prelude to what is coming down the pike (arrests, etc.) which would put a damper on possible riots?

Now that’s thinking outside the box.
I kind of like the Rothschild like theory of a bio warfare event to manipulate the market and grab more control.
